We recommend coordinating colors rather than matching exactly — earth tones, pastels, and neutrals photograph beautifully. Avoid large logos, neon colors, and busy patterns. For outdoor sessions, bring a backup outfit and consider layers in case the weather changes. We'll send you a detailed preparation guide after booking, including location-specific tips for Selah. After your session, your edited photos are delivered through a secure online gallery that you can view, download, and share from any device. Portrait sessions are typically delivered within 1–2 weeks. Event galleries (weddings, quinceañeras, and celebrations) are usually ready within 2–4 weeks depending on the package. Gold and Platinum event packages also include a professionally designed album and prints. You'll receive a link and notification as soon as your gallery is ready.

Every package includes professional editing, a secure online gallery for viewing and downloading your images, and personal print rights so you can make your own prints. For events, our Silver package covers up to 7 hours with one photographer and 200+ edited photos. Gold adds a pre-event session, album, and party print with 350+ photos. Platinum provides all-day coverage with two photographers, a premium album, USB drive, and 400+ photos. Portrait session pricing varies by type — we'll walk you through all options when you book so there are no surprises.

We coordinate directly with the school to schedule and run picture day. Parents receive order forms before the date, and can also order online through our secure gallery after photos are taken. Every student receives a free student ID card, and staff members receive complimentary professional headshots. Individual portraits, class photos, and yearbook photos are all handled in one visit. Yes! Bright Minds Photography partners with youth sports leagues across Selah and Central Washington. We offer both traditional outdoor and composite cutout (green screen) photo styles. Individual portraits, team photos, trading cards, banners, and more are available. No pre-orders are required — parents view all photos online and purchase only what they love. The Selah Cliffs provide dramatic, rugged backdrops that are unlike anything else in the valley. The Yakima River Canyon is gorgeous for natural, woodsy settings. Local parks in Selah work well for relaxed family sessions, and the nearby Yakima Area Arboretum is one of our favorites, especially in fall. We'll recommend the best spot based on the look you're going for.

Not at all! Selah is right next to our Yakima studio — there are no travel fees or surcharges. You get the same pricing as Yakima families. We're just a few minutes away.
